Benchmarks
Some very high benchmarks were set in Gameweek 5 but none higher than the one set by Fred. His bench weighing in with 102.6 points including a hat trick from Brobbey. To add insult to injury Fred lost his matchup to Jack by 0.3 points, now that has to sting the Scorpion King.
Elsewhere, Brandy continues to stride clear at the head of affairs after another high scoring win. More important though, Sandy's maiden victory of the season sends him up two places above opponent Jon and the new bottom feeder Nic. The golfing buddies definitely look like missing the cut.
Jack and Liam are the big movers this week. Jack's narrow win over Fred, previously mentioned, and Liam's crushing win over Davey giving them top three status although with five teams on nine points that is built on shifting sands.
A three week break now to sit down and think of ways to sabotage our Canadian brethren.
